How I open your door
- You call or message me with what happened and where you are
- I give you the exact price and arrival time
- I check the property is yours (ID, a bill or similar)
- I open with non-destructive techniques: picking, controlled bumping or through the peephole depending on the model
- If the lock is broken or jammed, I replace it on the spot

I open the door and, if you don't know where the keys are, I recommend changing the cylinder the same day so nobody can get in with them.
Key snapped inside the lock
I extract the piece without damaging the cylinder whenever possible. If the cylinder is damaged, I replace it and you get new keys.

Questions about this service
Do you break the lock to open?
No, unless there's no other way. On standard doors I open without damage in the vast majority of cases. On reinforced or high-security doors with a security cylinder, sometimes the cylinder has to be broken and replaced, and I tell you before doing it.
How long does it take to open?
A slammed standard door, 5 to 15 minutes. A locked or high-security door can take 20 to 45 minutes.
What do you need to open my door?
Proof that the property is yours or that you're authorised: ID with the address, a contract, a bill or similar. It's for your security.
Do you open cars or safes?
No. I work on doors of homes, business premises and communal buildings.
